Permanent Makeup - Never
be caught without make-up again.
Permanent make-up, also called cosmetic
tattooing, is the process of depositing color molecules through
the epidermis into the dermal layer of the skin. While the molecules
remain in the skin permanently, permanent make-up does experience
varying degrees of lightening over time, from a gentle softening
to a fading that would require an occasional touchup. These procedures
are greatly affected by exposure to the sun.

A Permanent Cosmetic treatment is a non-surgical procedure
known as Micropigmentation. Tiny droplets of custom blended colors
are skillfully deposited into the dermal layer of the skin to simulate
natural looking or well-defined makeup.
Custom blended pigments are gently
deposited into your skin and for the most natural look, creating
dimension and depth of color. .
The exact colors and shapes you desire,
alternatives, and results you can expect will be fully discussed
during your consultation.
The strictest sanitation and safety
standards are followed by using only disposable tools and fresh
pigments. Also, all pigments are hypo-allergenic containing no fragrances,
emollients or other irritants.
Does it hurt?
Everyone's tolerance level to discomfort
is different. Topical anesthetics are applied prior to performing
permanent make-up to make you comfortable during the treatment.
Some clients feel a slight prickly sensation. For permanent lip
color, often a dental block may be offered to numb the lips to make
the permanent cosmetic application painless. Delicate or sensitive
areas may become slightly red and or swollen from the treatment;
therefore it is recommended not to have social plans following the
same day the permanent make-up is applied.
How long does it take?
Depending on the procedure, 11/2 to
2 hours should be allotted. A 4 to 6 week follow-up visit is required
for evaluation for touch-up and to ensure satisfaction.
